The Master’s in Education with a concentration in Educational Evaluation and Data Analysis (EEDA) prepares you to work in K-20 educational data settings such as program evaluation, assessment, and institutional research.

K-20 educational systems are awash in data from students, faculty, classrooms, and campuses. The EEDA concentration prepares you to approach questions about program evaluation, academic achievement, and institutional effectiveness by designing data analyses that meet the applied research need. Upon graduation, you will understand theory and methods, as well as possess practical experience and ethical awareness to meet the demands and challenges in educational settings.

You will be prepared for a career in which data and analytics are used to inform leadership about critical school and university topics, in roles such as K-12 assessment professionals, institutional researchers, data analysts, data managers, and education evaluators.

CGU requires applicants to submit proof of a completed a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. The school also requires a minimum standard of a B average in undergraduate coursework (3.0 on a 4.0 scale). A minimum TOEFL score of 95 iBT, or a minimum IELTS score of 7.0 with no sub-score lower than 6.5, is required for direct-entry admission. Admitted students who score below 95 iBT on the TOEFL, or below 7.0 on the IELTS, will be required to successfully complete ISP (earning a grade of B or higher in each required ISP course) prior to beginning their degree programs.
