This course can help enhance your career and equip you with the necessary knowledge, skills, attitude and competencies required for effective advanced pharmacy practice. The Pharmacist Independent Prescribing qualification is incorporated in the diploma stage.

This course has been designed to deliver a focused education on all competencies, skills and attitudes required to become an Advanced Practitioner. You will have many opportunities to use experience of professional practice, enabling you to reflect analytically and self?critically. This is a career-enhancing course, throughout which you’ll become an independent and reflective life-long learner with the ability to make a positive impact on patients' lives.

Students need to have of the following qualifications: a four-year Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised "211" or "985" university with an overall average of 65% (4 point scale 64-67% = C- and 5 point scale 60-74% = C). 70% is required from all other recognised universities in China. Students who hold a three-year college Diploma from a recognised institution will need to successfully complete a pre-masters programme in China or the UK to be considered for entry. A small number of University postgraduate programmes do require a minimum of second class upper classification, or an equivalent. Applicants with lower qualification and / or relevant work experience will be considered on a case by case basis. Students need to have an IELTS overall of 6.5 includes 5.5 in Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening.
