Flexible and Convenient

The Community Health & Education program is designed especially for working professionals. In this flexible program, you can earn your applied bachelor’s degree at either a part-time or full-time pace, and we accept students quarterly. All the core classes of the program are taught in a hybrid style (combining reduced face-to-face time with online learning), with the in-person meetings scheduled for weekday evenings.

Assess behavioral and cultural factors that impact health communications and healthcare delivery.
Plan and implement health communications interventions, educational strategies and behavior change programs for individuals, groups, communities and institutions.
Serve as a community health and education resource person.
Communicate and advocate for health and health education.
Evaluate, research and design program evaluation to assess health education and community health programs.
