If you've got your New Zealand diplomas in environmental management (levels 5 and 6) you can enjoy this final year of study towards your bachelor degree in Tauranga.

Complete just one more year after your diplomas and you’ll gain your Bachelor of Science. The University of Waikato degree is taught by University of Waikato and Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology.

You’ll pick up additional key skills to enhance your prospects in future employment. One of the key benefits of this pathway is the practical skills and experience you'll gain while studying - it gives you the edge for employment!

Study Options:

If you have already completed the New Zealand Diploma in Environmental Management (Level 5) AND the New Zealand Diploma in Environmental Management (Level 6), you can finish this course in one year.

An applicant must meet the University Entrance criteria as specified by NZQA or have education achievement, at least equivalent to NZQA University Entrance. Where an applicant did not attend school in New Zealand, the relevant equivalent to University Entrance will be considered on a case-by-case basis; and meet all program entry requirements; Or Provide evidence of ability to complete academic and other requirements (special admission requirements). Applicants must meet the English language requirements: IELTS Academic score of 6 with no band score lower than 5.5. TOEFL Internet based test (iBT) - Score of 60 (with a writing score of 18); Pearson Test of English (Academic)- PTE (Academic) score of 50 with no band score lower than 42.
