Hospitality management is a fast-growing industry with high demand for qualified management level staff. During the first two years of the Bachelor of Business (International Hotel & Resort Management) course, you will live on-site at our Practical Learning Centre, Leura campus in the Blue Mountains. The Leura campus operates as a simulated hotel, where students are both guest and staff. This provides you with the unique opportunity to put theoretical knowledge into practice. From guest relations, front office management, food and beverage to housekeeping and property management, you will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of day-to-day operations. The final six months will focus on purely on business management. These classes will be held at our non-residential, Executive Business Centre, in the Sydney-Town Hall campus.

Students are required to complete international Qualifications equivalent to Australian Year 12. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) – Academic: Overall 6.0 (min. sub-score 5.5); Test of English as a Foreign (TOEFL) – Paper Based Test: 550; Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) – Internet Based Test (iBT): 60-78 (min. 18 in writing); Pearson Test of English (PTE): 50 (no skill score <42); Cambridge English Requirements (B2 First = First Certificate Exam and C1 Advanced = CAE): Overall Cambridge English Scale score of 169, achievable in B2 First or C1 Advanced. No less than 162 in any paper; Occupational English Test (OET): C.
