英國簽證處關(guān)于托?？荚嚦煽兊恼f明

從2014年4月5日起，英國簽證處將不再與美國教育考試服務(wù)中心續(xù)簽安全英語語言測試(SELT)許可，由此，托業(yè)和托?？荚嚦煽儗⒉豢捎靡陨暾堄炞C。

目前英國簽證處承認(rèn)6個(gè)安全英語語言測試(SELT)分別是：

1. 雅思考試IELTS

2. 博思考試Business Language Testing Service (BULATS)

3. 劍橋英語語言考試Cambridge English Language Assessment

4. 倫敦城市協(xié)會(huì)的IESOL考試 City & Guilds International

5. 培生PTE考試Pearson Test of English

6. 倫敦三一學(xué)院語言考試Trinity College London

關(guān)于已經(jīng)進(jìn)行了托福考試、并希望申請英國簽證的學(xué)生，簽證要求如下：

1）在4月6日以前進(jìn)行的托?？荚嚦煽?，并且已經(jīng)在4月6日前遞交了簽證申請，在申請中仍將被認(rèn)可；

2）在4月6日以后（含4月6日當(dāng)天）進(jìn)行的托福考試成績，并已經(jīng)遞交了簽證申請，簽證處將聯(lián)系申請者進(jìn)行面談，以確保其具備赴英留學(xué)的語言水平；

3）在4月6日以后（含4月6日當(dāng)天）進(jìn)行的托?？荚嚦煽儯⑸形催f交簽證申請，申請者需要重新進(jìn)行簽證處認(rèn)可的語言考試，并在申請時(shí)遞交簽證處認(rèn)可的語言考試成績。

熱點(diǎn)問題回答：

1）已經(jīng)遞交簽證的學(xué)生可以撤回簽證申請嗎？

回答：可以，申請者可以要求撤回簽證申請，但已經(jīng)遞交的簽證申請費(fèi)用將不會(huì)被退還。

2）已經(jīng)遞交的申請會(huì)有延遲嗎？

回答：之前用托福成績遞交的簽證申請有可能被延遲，因?yàn)楹炞C處需要審核他們的語言水平資格。簽證處會(huì)通知所有這樣的申請者。

We’re writing to update you that ETS is no longer a Secure English Language Testing provider since Apr.5th

There are currently 6 other test providers recognized by UKVI in China. Please check the following link for more details.

UKVI is changing the rules to remove ETS from a list of accepted provides. UKVI will not accept ETS tests as part of applications made after the date the rules change. Depending on the applicant’s circumstances UKVI suggested:

1) Those who took TOEFL before Apr 6, and have already submitted visa applications will NOT be affected.

2) Those who took TOEFL after Apr 6 (including Apr 6), and have already submitted visa applications will be contacted for interview given no fraud is involved in TOEFL.

3) Those who took TOEFL after Apr 6 (including Apr 6), but have not submitted visa applications should be advised to take a different language test provided by approved providers.

Frequently asked questions:

1) Will this lead to delays for customers?

Customers previously reliant on a test administered by ETS may have their applications delayed while we make checks on their applications. We will write to all customers whose application is delayed beyond our usual service response standards.

2) Can applicants withdraw their application for an extension of leave?

Yes, applicants can withdraw their application. Their application fee will not be refunded and we will provide them with their passport at the port they chose to leave the UK from.
